Dr. Orvitz is great! Very knowledgeable with years of experience. Very nice man. Takes lots of time with his patients and always encourages them to contact him any time with questions. I've had orthotics made by two others before the ones I have now that Dr. Orvitz made. They are by far the best and most comfortable. I definitely recommend him to you!

Dr Orvitz and his staff are professional and friendly. They create a welcoming environment. I had been to chiropodist, a PT and a sports medicine doctor. All with either no results or diagnosis. After explaining my symptoms, Dr Orvitz was able to give my pain a name and outline a course of treatment. After 4 laser treatments, I am now 3 weeks and counting pain free.

I was impressed by the bedside manner of Stevan Orvitz, H DPM, which was professional and utmostly & amicably comfortable. My young son was the patient for an initial consultation and he was treated so respectfully like he was the adult in the room. It is unfortunate that OHIP does not cover many aspects of such appointments but overall, the visit was worth every nickle (I'd say penny but those went by way of the dinosaur)!

I brought my elderly father (wheelchair) in a few times for ingrown toenails. Dr. Orvitz was very kind, caring and patient with him. All of the staff went out of their way to help him. I was very impressed with the level of caring. As a result, I also purchased orthotics. I have had orthotics in the past but these fit perfectly and were the first pair I can say I walked away with that were instantly comfortable.

What can I expect at my first appointment?
The Podiatrist will examine your feet to assess your foot care needs, and will provide you with his recommendations. Any foot concerns like Corns, Calluses, toenail clipping can be treated at this first visit however, more involved treatments such as ingrown toenail surgery, Laser treatments, Shock Wave Therapy are all therapies that require more time and will need to be scheduled at another time.
